Gloria has been working in the care industry for many years and has had experience in a various role; Care Coordinator, Deputy Manager and now Care Manager. Gloria enjoys working and assisting individuals in their own homes and brightening their lives. Gloria is dedicated and well-loved by staff members here at Lalis. Gloria has achieved a Level 3 QCF Health and Social Care, this has given her a more in-depth knowledge in Health and Social Care, which in turn has bettered her performance in the day to day running of Lalis Direct Care Ltd. “I am so happy working at Lalis, these past few years have flown by, working with people that genuinely care about the service users and their families is rewarding. Sado encourages the development and growth in her staff, which is important and beneficial to everyone” In her free time Gloria likes to spend time with family and friends, going to her son’s football matches, and baking cakes at home.
Adjele started at Lalis in September 2013. Adjele has the role of Compliance Manager and she works closely with the office manager to ensure that Lalis delivers a quality service. Adjele’s duties includes medication management, handling safeguarding and complaints, communications and managing accidents/incidents. Adjele has a real passion for helping others; especially our service users and often goes above and beyond to ensure service users care needs are met. Adjele has achieved a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. “I enjoy working at Lalis; as I have gotten to know everyone the past seven years, we are family.” In Adjele’s spare time she enjoys visiting her family, friends, attending church and church functions etc.
Faduma started at Lalis in April 2017. With Faduma’s dedication and hard work she rose the ranks from carer to Care Coordinator, which is more of the management aspect of Lalis Direct Care Ltd. Faduma is responsible for creating and maintaining the rotas; allocating care assistants with the service users to ensure consistency and continuity of care. Faduma also liaises others involved in the care of the service user; GP/District Nurses/Local Authorities etc; whether it be to report changes or to book appointments. “I can honestly say we are a business that cares about our services users and staff members. I enjoy working with staff who are funny, kind and genuine.” In Faduma’s spare time she enjoys visiting her family and travelling abroad, exploring the customs of other cultures.
Sado joined Lalis Direct Care in 2017, she is responsible for recruiting staff and managing staff folders. Sado incorporates the values and behaviours-based recruitment at Lalis, which enforces that employees are hired for their behaviour, values, and attitude. Having these fundamentals is essential when employing staff as delivering quality care is not just being trained but having the innate traits needed; caring and empathetic nature, right mindset, commitment, reliability is significant too. When not on the clock Sado loves spending time with her children and going out with friends. “I very much enjoy what I do; looking for and employing new talent to Lalis, that are passionate about helping others.”
Barwaaqo has been an Administrator and Payroll Assistant at Lalis since September 2018. Barwaaqo supports the office staff with managing phone calls, managing diaries and arranging appointments. Barwaaqo also manages the post and Payroll. Barwaaqo manages the payroll; this includes payroll changes like; new hires/ terminations/pay raises. Barwaaqo has been trained with the current software we use; with her four years of office experience, it was easy for her to adapt to it. “One thing I love about working in the care industry is knowing that every day you are making a difference to someone's day, it provides a real sense of accomplishment. Additionally, you will be building real relationships with service users, not to mention their family members. and that personal connection is what makes Lalis Direct Care a warm and welcoming place to work.” In her spare Barwaaqo enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as attending Zumba classes/ Pilates Classes.
Administrator & Payroll Assistant
